We love all things blue, including next year's color coined "Dazzling Blue." It is a great color for 2014, because it represents stability and depth. But its presence isn't alone in our industry. The world of interior design and fashion are always crossing paths, and this color can be incorporated into either of the two. Mixed with pastels or other bold colors, blue tones are great; especially with variations for a monochromatic palette to create interest -- no matter the medium. We can't wait to see more of blue tones incorporated into the design world in the year approaching!
As Pantone describes it, "This season, consumers are looking for a state of thoughtful, emotional and artistic equilibrium. While this need for stability is reflected in the composition of the palette, the inherent versatility of the individual colors allows for experimentation with new looks and color combinations."
