Robin Brown studied kitchens for years before she and husband, Jeff, took the renovation plunge.

“After 24 years in our home, the kitchen was extremely outdated and needed more than a facelift,” she says.

The Browns contacted the designers at Acadian House Design + Renovation with two requirements: He wanted a kitchen that would be “timeless,” and she wanted it finished by the second Saturday in December, when the Browns host their annual Christmas party.
